ANAHEIM, CA - The Los Angeles Angels addressed one of their most pressing issue by acquiring right handed reliever Ernesto Frieri from the San Diego Padres today. In return for Frieri the Angels send infielder Alexi Amarista and RHP Donn Roach.
The 26 year-old Frieri pitched in 11 games for the Padres going 1-0, 2.32 ERA. He has five more years of club control.
