C.J. Wilson took the mound on Sunday against one of baseballs' best, Felix Hernandez. Hernandez and the Mariner bullpen were able to hold the Angels offense down limiting the Angels to just 2 runs. The difference maker was Justin Smoak's 18th homerun of the season. Angels fall 3-2.
C.J. Wilson finishes the season 17-7, 3.36 ERA and the lefty hits the 200 innings pitched mark for the 4th straight season. Wilson was awarded the "Nick Adenhart Award" voted on by his teammates as the Angels best pitcher of the season.
Yesterday's oddity was a 20 minute delay by a softball sized bee hive in right-field.
