Anaheim, CA - General Manager Jerry Dipoto announced the Angels have offered arbitration to all of their eligible players, they are now considered signed for the 2013 season.
Kendrys Morales batted .273/.320/.467 with 22 homers and 73 RBI in 134 games. Morales returned after missing all of the 2011 season with leg surgery.
Jerome Williams went 6-8, 4.58 in 32 games. The Hawaii native pitched in long relief as well as making 15 starts. Williams will enter the 2013 season competing with Garrett Richards for the 5th starters job.
Alberto Callaspo, the Angels primary third baseman in 2012 saw his production drop from a productive 2011 campaign. Callaspo .252/.331/.361 10 homers and 53 RBI.
Kevin Jepsen who was a non-tender candidate last off-season clawed his way back to the Angels big league roster and showed management that he could convert potential into on the field results. 3-2, 3.02 ERA 1.14 WHIP 7.7 SO/9.
Tommy Hanson who was acquired today from the Braves is also arbitration eligible and expected to make an estimated $4 million.
Los Angeles also claimed outfielder Scott Cousins off waivers from the Seattle Mariners and placed him on the 40 man roster.
