Dallas Keuchel has been maybe the brightest spot of the surprising Houston Astros so far this season as he has become the unquestioned ace of their young staff. He hits the All-Star break tied with Felix Hernandez for the American League lead in wins at 11 and will be making his first career All-Star appearance.

Zack Greinke (8-2, 1.39 ERA) – Los Angeles Dodgers

Zack Greinke may just be putting together the best year of a career that already includes a Cy Young Award. His other-worldly 1.39 ERA is making him look like the 2014 version of teammate Clayton Kershaw, and with Kershaw hitting a few bumps in the road to go along with injuries to Hyun-Jin Ryu and Brandon McCarthy, Greinke’s performance has helped keep the Dodgers in first place in the NL West. There may be no pitcher more deserving of the All-Star start in either league.
