L.A. Sports Hub: Relaunch, Posting

One of the sites I write for, L.A. Sports Hub, is getting back on the horse this week, and will be added as a column on the Angels Fans Unite tab bar. As with LA Angels Insider — the other site I write for — each article at LASH will be posted upon publication. However, LASH will still have it’s main posting day here, being Sunday. On that day, a new running post will begin, with new articles and anything relating to LASH for the next seven days thereafter. Here are the first links:

Local News Beats Will Serve as Monday Column

We will be adding a local news column for the LA Times and Orange County Register. This will be our Monday column, as our weeks begin there and those two outlets are the closest to the Angels clubhouse. Like the other columns (minus the daily MLB.com category), this will be a weekly post that will refresh every Monday.

Alex Johnson Passes Away at Age 72

Comments Off on Alex Johnson Passes Away at Age 72

The lone batting champion in Angels history fell to cancer on this Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Johnson won the AL hitting crown in 1970 for the ‘California’ Angels, hitting .329 and clinching the title in his final at-bats. The Detroit native was a very good ballplayer who stood out for a number of teams. Bobbie Dittmeier has more on this stor over at MLB.com. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Johnson.
