Stoneman’s Lair: Astros Acquire Scott Kazmir

In the first major move of the 2015 midseason trading season, the 2nd place Houston Astros (2 games behind the Angels) and the current AL Wild Card leaders have bolstered their rotation by acquiring lefty Scott Kazmir in a trade with the Oakland Athletics. In return, the A’s will get a pair of prospects, RHP Daniel Mengden and C Jacob Nottingham.
